The project is aimed primarily at the benefaction of South Africa's valuable gold, diamond and platinum resources. Unique and existing CAD design, stereo topography, rapid tooling, investment casting, laser, electro-forming, welding, robotics and marking technologies will be implemented systematically for practical application to the benefaction of gold and rough diamond resources.

The design and manufacturing techniques will effectively result in hollow, ethnic jewellery adorned with diamonds and /or semi-precious stones, guaranteed quality, reduced time to market (days versus weeks) and a reduction in production costs.
